No! No! Hair Removal Review REAL TALK

I just bought the No! No! Hair removal system for almost $270 and that is a big chunk of money for me.

The decision to purchase no! no! came from a place of self-consciousness and curiosity. Reviews all over the Internet and TV seemed positive and I even watched YouTube reviews to make sure. This wasn't something I bought on a whim; I did my research.

A year of research and feeling self-conscious every time the wind blows on my face finally triggered something in me. I had to buy the no!no!; I just had to go for it. Mind you, I'm a college student, so buying this was hard. Money is a big concern for me these days. I purchased it with the idea that the 30-day guarantee will give me enough time to decide if I want to keep it.

Today, I got the No! No! in the mail. Of course, being who I am, I read the manual and watched some more videos just to make sure that I use it correctly.

So does it really work?

I've only used it once so far and the smell is a bit sickening. I never knew that burning hair would make me queasy. Even my dog ran away from the smell, and she licks her own... you know. In fact, as I'm typing this, I can still smell it.

The hair didn't come all the way off; there are still big patches of hair on my arms. My sideburns are still there and only the lighter hair on my chin is completely off. One thing that already annoys me is how long it takes. The instructions say I should use it 2-3 times as week for 4 weeks before I see any satisfactory results.

However, I'm thinking that I might return it before 30 days, just to make sure I get my money back. I'm not satisfied with it and the amount of time it takes makes me want to return it now.

The thought that this could just be another TV scam or that the hair will grow back thicker scares me. But I will give it a chance before I return it. I will post again on this product next week.

Final Review as of day 1:

It smells when used, it doesn't remove all of the hair right away, it's too expensive and doesn't seem worth it.

Again, this is only my first day. I hope that my feelings towards this product change because the money I spent on it was significant for me (notice how I keep bringing that up). Maybe next time I'll be talking about how much I love it.

Oct. 2, 2013,

So I decided to return the no! no!
After a while of using it, I started getting itchy. My skin became rough and sometimes there would be a weird yellow mark on my skin.

I did use the nono a few times still, but it did nothing for me. The hair it removed it just cut off; so it never removed hair completely and my sideburns keep coming in as thick as they were.

Overall, I was unsatisfied with the product and I returned it. One thing I will give nono is that their customer service is good.

The woman I spoke to to return my device was polite and helpful. She didn't make me feel bad or stupid for returning it.

My experience has no real reflection on if the product works. It's different for everyone and I know there are people out there who love nono. Unfortunately, I couldn't be one of them. I would have loved to say that nono was wonderful and that it worked so completely on me, but it didn't.

If you'd like to try nono yourself, go for it. Don't let this review stop you, but keep it in mind when buying. Don't expect too much.
